Round Pearl Millet (உருட்டு கம்பு) is a whole-grain form of pearl millet, a traditional millet widely used in Indian cooking. The grains are small, rounded and pearl-like, with a naturally earthy, mildly nutty flavour. Pearl millet is commonly used as a staple grain in Tamil Nadu and other parts of India.

It can be prepared in several traditional ways, including Kambu Koozh, Kambu Dosai, porridge and millet-based flatbreads. When cooked as a whole grain, pearl millet develops a firm, dense texture, while grinding it produces flour suitable for different traditional preparations.
