Honey Dipped Fig, known as தேன் அத்தி, is a traditional sweet preserve made by combining dried figs (அத்திப்பழம்) with pure honey. Similar Indian products are sold as Honey Fig, Honey Soaked Fig and Dry Fig with Honey, with commercial listings identifying figs and honey as the principal ingredients. A Tamil Nadu agricultural resource also documents a preparation using dried figs and enough honey to cover the figs.
