Rose Gulkand is a traditional Indian rose-petal preserve prepared by combining fragrant rose petals with sugar and allowing them to mature into a thick, aromatic sweet preserve. Traditional gulkand is associated with rose petals and sugar, while commercial formulations may use different types of sugar such as mishri, raw sugar or desi khand.

The preserve has a rich floral aroma, naturally sweet rose flavour and a thick, soft texture with visible rose-petal pieces. Rose Gulkand can be enjoyed directly or incorporated into milk drinks, sherbets, lassi, desserts, ice cream, paan and other sweet preparations.

Serving Suggestions:

1. Enjoy 1–2 teaspoons directly as a sweet preserve.
2. Mix with chilled or warm milk to prepare rose milk.
3. Add to lassi, sherbet and other beverages.
4. Use as a topping or filling for ice cream, kulfi, barfi and other desserts.
5. Add to paan-style preparations.
6. Spread over toast or use as a sweet filling in suitable desserts.

Storage Type:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed after use. If the product label specifies refrigeration after opening, follow the packet instructions; some commercial Gulkand products recommend refrigeration after opening.
